Cleaned up the entire saw. Replaced air filter and bad fuel line and filter. Also replaced the carburetor kit and gasket. Ordered the wrong carburetor plate and luckily was able to use the old one. Also ordered the carburetor adaptor just in case but also didn\'t need it. Saw appeared to be turning too many RPM\'s when I could get it to r un. I initially tried cleaning the carburetor with carb flush and got it to improve somewhat but unfortunately had to end up replacing carburetor kit. Saw is now operating smoothly. The videos and repair advice on your website really was a big help. Thanks!

After removing the top cover and the remnants of the old fuel line, I attempted to pull the tapered end of the replacement fuel line through the hole in the chainsaw body. The supposedly OEM fuel line was so weak it was impossible to pull it without tearing it. I was able to pull it through only after enlarging the hole. The tubing was so weak that it split when trying to attach it to the carburetor. The filter component of this assembly is fine. The fuel line tubing is utter junk.

I completed my repair by acquiring a length of Tygon fuel line from another vendor. The Tygon tube fit perfectly and had the strength to pull through the chainsaw body and stretch over the carburetor nipple. The repair was actually quite easy with decent quality parts.
