Download hydrogear transaxle repair manual 310-0510 and follow instructions and diagrams on breakdown and reassembly of transaxle. Clean magnet of any metal shavings and clean well with parts cleaner before reassembly and refill. Use flathead to remove old spiral retainer ring by lifting end with screwdriver and working screwdriver around while lifting end with your finger. Install new spiral retainer ring by setting end into slot and working ring around until seated.
