Removed the motor cover to expose the motor brushes, proceeded to detached the old brushes.
Re-crimped the brush wires and set the brushes in place. Reinstalled the motor cover and test ran the compressor, very satisfied with the results. Instead of discarding the $ 400 compressor, we were able to extend its life of it.
