Remove the screws from the back of the heater that hold the heat box in the wood casing. Then remove the support brackets from the left and right sides that you can see on the back. Then remove the one long screw from each wheel bracket on the bottom. Flip the heater back up right and pull the whole metal heat box from the wood case. Lay the heat box on its left side and remove the screws holding the right side cover on. Note the location of the wires on the old switch and them remove them from the switch. Squeeze the upper and lower tabs together and push the switch out the front. The use of pliers may be required. Assembly is the same but in reverse. Use caution tightening screws as to not to over tighten them. The metal screws will strip very easily. Good luck and have fun.

TO GET TO THE SWITCH YOU HAVE TO TAKE THE METAL BOX OUT THE WOODEN ONE. TO DO THAT YOU UNSCREW TEN PHILLIPS SCREW USE POWER DRILL ,LOT FASTER
SIX BACK AND FOUR ON THE BOTTOM.ON THE BACK FOUR ARE ON SIDE AND THE OTHER TWO UNDER THE FILTER, IT MAGNETIZE JUST PULL IT OFF. ON BOTTOM TAKE THE LONGEST SCREW OUT, THEY ARE ON THE OUT SIDE C ORNERS. ONCE YOU GET METAL BOX OUT YOU GOT A LOT MORE SCREWS . YOU NEED TO USE FLAT SCREWDRIVER TO PRY UP ON METAL PANEL TO GET THE I THINK 12 OR 15 SCREWS OUT ,TAKE THREE WIRES OFF THE SWITCH ,ON PIECE PAPER WRITE DOWN HOW THE WIRES COME OFF SWITCH, THEN WITH A NEEDLE PLIERS SQUEEZE THE SPRING ON TOP AND BOTTOM OF SWITCH. AT SAME TIME PRYING UP ON SWITCH . WHEN YOU PUTTING BACK TOGETHER PUT BACK
SCREWS IN FIRST AND WILL GO IN LOT BETTER. THE SWITCH WAS HARD OUT AND IN BUT DID IT. ITS WORKING!!!!!

Repair went as expected with the switch. Small problem with getting the heater out of the cabinet. The screws that needed to be removed were part of the cabinet rollers. and nowhere does it say that in the owners manual. Should of figured it out sooner as one of the screws on each roller was a different color. Other then that it was an ea sy repair.
