The carbon brush is the key component of an electric motor which conducts the current by maintaining contact with an armature. Carbon brushes are a commonly replaced part on power tools, due to normal use and friction they will gradually wear down eventually requiring replacement. 1. Watched a DIY video for replacing brushes in the electric motor of the vacuum.
2. Followed the sequence for disassembling.
3. Replaced worn out brushes.
4. Assembled parts in reverse order.
5. Tested the vacuum. It worked fine.

Watched a u-tube video on what might cause the vacuum from operating. Primary reason was the motor brushes so I ordered them. Then re watched the video and followed the steps to replace the motor brushes. Simple as that
