The pump piston ring was broken and the cylinder was grooved. The pump was not pumping air into the tank. And, the cooling fan was broken.

Parts Used:
WL003701AV, WL200401SJ, WL002401AV
1. Removed the broken fan. (the screw was left-handed threads).
2. Removed the air tubing from the pump head and removed the head. (be careful to keep the proper order and placement of the valve plates. there is an alignment pin in one corner).
3. Removed the piston from the crank. The cylinder sleeve sets in a grove beneath t he head.
4. Replaced the cylinder and piston with new ones.
5. Cleaned the valves and reinstalled the valves and pump head. (I did not use a torque wrench and I stretched one of the threads. I had to re-thread it and insert a helicoil).
6. Reattached the tubing, and replaced the fan.
7. Did a test run for leaks during operation.
8. When the tank was pressurized and the pump head was heated, I checked final torque on the head bolts.
9. Back in business ...
