Genuine Black and Decker replacement part, this item is sold individually. This cover secures the spool and cutting string in the spool housing. By pressing the tabs on either side of the cover, the spool can be removed. Once you have wound new string on the spool or purchased a spool and string assembly. Insert the spool into the housing then line up the tabs to the slots in the housing and press it on, it will snap into place.
