This is an authentic OEM part from Honda and is used with a small engine. This part is used to filter out dirt and debris from the air before it reaches the carburetor. Over time the filter can become clogged and worn out needing replacement. This part is made of foam is a separately sold part.
1. Took air cleaner off
2. Took air cleaner housing nut off
3. Took fuel lines off
4. Took throttle linkage off
5. Took carb out
6. Repeat the steps backwards to install new one
Opened side panel wig flat head screwdriver, snapped out the air filter cover, removed existing filter, installed new air filter, snapped cover back into place, reinstalled side panel using flat head screwdriver
