1. Took air cleaner off
2. Took air cleaner housing nut off
3. Took fuel lines off
4. Took throttle linkage off
5. Took carb out
6. Repeat the steps backwards to install new one

Opened side panel wig flat head screwdriver, snapped out the air filter cover, removed existing filter, installed new air filter, snapped cover back into place, reinstalled side panel using flat head screwdriver
