Take off back cover. remove all screws, take a picture of the switch to make sure you have the correct wires going to the proper terminals. Remove old switch and install new one in reverse order. While I was in there I replace the worn F/R Change Lever. Also replace missing bumper and cracked hammer case cover, they just snap on.

The hammer case was broken and the hammer case complete had scratches and dents the ring spring was missed place and the bit sleeve was wobbly

I removed the bit sleeve with the washer, spring and the silver balls.

Loosened the hammer cover, removed the gear assembly, removed the anvil and before I decided to put everything together with the new parts I Re-greased the gears and the inside of the new hammer case complete. Than I went ahead and re assembled everything .
