Power cord was damaged and needed replacement and detent plate was out of adjustment and the saw was not cutting square.

Removed cord from brackets and opened the cover and removed wire plugs to switch, replaced cord in reverse sequence. Loosened the detent plate and made the adjustment to straighten up the blade. Re-tightened plate.
