?This is an authentic manufacturer-approved replacement part that is specially produced for use on a Rolair air compressor. Its purpose is to ensure the air that goes into the unit is free of dust and other harmful contaminants. Over time the filter may get dirty and clogged restricting the air flow, inspect it periodically and replace as needed to maintain peak performance. It is a complete assembly which includes the rubber hose, pleated paper filter element and the durable metal frame that hold the filter.
