Found that mfg. had overtightened the lock nut such that the phillips head in the retaining bolt stripped. Had to drill out the head of the screw in order to remove the special shoulder bolt. Remive phillips screw and lock-nut, remove old handle remnant, use exisiting plastic collars with new handle and re-attach. Part supplied fit perfectly.
