This is an authentic Ryobi replacement part that is OEM sourced to be used with miter saws. The durable plastic throat plate attaches to the saw's table and is used support the material being cut near the blade of the saw to aid in making cleaner cuts. A screwdriver is needed to install this item and it is sold individually.
1. Screwed the Ryobi miter lock handle in, perfect fit, wrong color, but hey not picky.
2. Throat plate is that ghastly Ryobi green but I\'ll paint it someday (LOL), almost fit had to trim it just a bit at the top.
3. Tested, much better cuts. And miter saw now locks at angle selected.
