The gear case assembly is OEM sourced, it is not an aftermarket imitation. This item has been manufactured to be used with trimmers from Shindaiwa. The gear case is used to link the main tube and drive shaft to the cutting head assembly. This item is a complete replacement part that includes the gears and is sold pre-assembled.
