It is an authentic item that is supplied by the original equipment manufacturer for use with Briggs and Stratton generators. The purpose of this component is to ensure that the air that goes through the unit is free of dust and other harmful contaminants. It is an identical replacement for a faulty or a missing air cleaner that was included with a new unit. One durable foam part is included. Please refer to the owners manual and the diagrams of your model for the correct application of this component.
