This sawing chain is a genuine replacement part sourced straight from the manufacturer. It is commonly used in Echo chainsaws. This chain is 14 inches long and made of metal. This part is designed to cut through various materials. It is sold individually. Please note; it is crucial to ensure that you do not install the chain backwards.
Removed the sprocket guard
Loosened the tension on the blade and the bar
Remove the blade and bar
Remove the old tensioner and the adjustment screw
Install the new bar and chain
Install the sprocket guard
Remove the sprocket guard
Removed the bar and chain
Removed the stripped screw from the housing and install the new one
Installed the new bar and chain
Replace the sprocket cover
Adjusted the tension on the bar and chain
Nothing to it. Removed the two bar hold down nuts, replaced bar and fitted new chain. Presto, ready to go.
For anyone who is doing this for the first time just make sure you don\'t install the chain backwards. That can create a dangerous kickback situation. Not to mention it won\'t cut.
