With a small screwdriver I press on the tabs on the sides of the switch to release it. Pulled it out and removed it from its connection. Connected the new pto and then press it back in.
Pulled the old one off the end of the wire harness & replaced with the new one. Less than 5 minutes to take the old one off, & 5 minutes to put the new one on
Press on the plastic strips on the side of the switch to removed it
Take the wires off and put them on the new switch one at a time
Then press the new switch back in
1. Disconnect wiring from back of old switch.
2. Squeeze sides of old switch to release
3. Push new switch into opening until it clicks into place
4. Connect wiring
5. Mow your yard.
