This is an authentic OEM part. The MTD deck engage cable is composed of metal and plastic parts, and has been designed for use in several tractor machines. This part is fastened onto the frame assembly. The deck engage cable works to move belt idler pulley and engage the cutting blades. Please refer to manual for specific repair instructions. A wrench and a screwdriver is helpful in making the replacement. This part is sold individually.
