Wheel adjusting spring developed stress cracks. Weakened the spring strength and would not work properly.

Removed wheel and gear.
Removed cotter key and bushing.
Removed snap ring.
Removed the wheel adjusting spring.
Replaced with new spring and re-assembled.
Hardest part of the job was removing the snap ring.
Make sure you have a good small set of snap ring pliers.

Removed drive gear,
Removed broken spring,
Installed new spring,
Replaced drive gear and rear wheel,

The rear arm spring was bent and kept slipping

Removed the wheel, the gear, the plastic separater and washer, the slip ring and the arm spring and adapter. I watched a YouTube video and followed the instructions.
