This is a genuine Presto replacement part, it is sold individually. The purpose of the 09902 Pressure Canner Sealing Ring/Air Vent is two-fold. The sealing ring is used to create a seal between the Pressure cooker lid and the pressure cooker pot. In the event if the pressure regulator fails, and to much pressure builds up in the pot, the Air Vent will pop out of the lid releasing the excess pressure in the pot.

Hello Shirley, Thank you for your inquiry. Researching the model number that you have provided, the only compatible seal that we show is 09902. It does appear to be a thicker seal that fits around the inside rim of the cover and forms a pressure tight seal between the cover and the body of the pressure cooker during cooking.
