Found the sockets I needed which I looked every place to find, since they were from 1979 but found them on this great site,replaced the sockets ,rewired all and that\'s in it a bathroom exhaust fan from 1979 good as new. Thanks ereplacementparts.

Remove old socket by unplugging it, and plugged new socket in.

Thinking the new fan cover had a new socket I threw out the old one. Duh.

Nothing special just unscrew the lamp housing unplug the old socket fixture . Plug in new fixture clip on to lamp housing, and screw housing back up to ceiling fan unit mounted in ceiling! DONE!!

1. Removed the lamp cover.
2. Removed the wing nut holding the lamp socket plate.
3. Removed old lamp socket and installed new one.
4. Reinstalled plate and lamp cover.

2. Removed the defective light socket
3. Replaced with the new socket assembly.

Remove lens cover, remove light bulb. Remove light socket and housing, unplug the socket. Plug in new socket and reinstall the rest in reverse order
