Removed cover of fan. Removed light bulbs. Removed housing for light bulbs (one wing nut). Unplugged light and fan plugs. Removed exhaust fan assemble (removed one screw and pried a little). Installed new exhaust fan by installing in the reverse order. Very easy and did not even have to shut power off. I also took the time to vacuum and clean the housing for the fan to allow the new one to work in a cleaner unit. I also watched a few YouTube videos for examples.

I replaced these units in my two bathrooms. The new fan motor comes complete including, squirrel cage and all wiring connectors. The opening for the electrical plugs was a little small you can force it to fit but I used my Dremel with a small grinding stone to open it up a little. Other than that it is an easy switch out. I was really su rprised parts were still available!
Good as new should be good for another 20 years :-)
