removed cylinder from the crankcase on up, as well as connecting rod. cleaned what I could, sanded where I needed to and reassembled with new connecting rod, gaskets. The pressure gauge I ordered was not the correct one. Refilled with new oil, started it up and surprise, surprise it worked!
