This is a genuine OEM sourced replacement part that is used on Heatstar and Mr. Heater forced air heaters. It is part of the unit that allows the user to turn it on and off. Over time switch may develop either mechanical or electrical problems compromising equipment functionality, if this happens the switch will need to be replaced. 1. Removed 2 screws holding the cover on.
2. Popped switch in front side of cover.
3. Plugged wires into backside of switch.
4. Replaced screws holding cover on.
- Removed shroud that held switch (2 screws)
- Pinched the old switch to push it out of the shroud casing.
- Removed the 3 wires 1 at a time and put them on the new switch
- Snapped the switch on place
- Reconnected the shroud
