I had to order new fuel hoses for my heater after one year of ownership. I had not burned 5 gal. of fuel and the hoses were cracked that the heater would not start. I think I will report the incident

To find my problem I was on the phone with Mr Heater employees three different times and they couldn\'t help me. I finally discovered the problem after I took of the hood and looked at the hoses. The hose to the motor was cracked on the end so I cut that part off and reattached it so I figured that because I had fuel dripping off of my he ater I must have a crack in the fuel line also. I removed that hose also and found that it was cracked on the back side of the hose and that it was pumping fuel onto the machine instead of it going to the burner. I cut off that end of the hose and reattached it and turned on the heater and it ignited instantly. I then turned off the heater and wiped down the heater because of the fuel that was dripping off of the heater and dried it down. After removing all the fuel that was on the outside of the heater I then restarted the heater and it works fine now.
