This felt washer is a genuine replacement part supplied by the original equipment manufacturer. It is compatible with over 150 models of Dynabrade sanders. This small flat ring is useful in between bearings of the machine. It is made of felt, and it should be replaced if needed.

Remove sanding pad, unscrew retaining nut holding the internals into the sander.
Use a bearing puller to disassemble the housing holding the rotor and blades. Once everything is disassembledand cleaned, press the felt washer and lower bearing onto the rotor shaft, lower plate,and rotor housing. Coat the lower plate and rotor housing
... Read more using a light coat of airtool oil. Install the rotor again coated with airtool oil. Install the blades, liberaly coated with oil, into the rotor. Then its the upper plate, lightly coated with oil, and top bearing. install assembly back into the sander body.
