This Belt is an OEM part direct from the original vacuum manufacturer. This is a number 7 style belt that is used to link the brush roll to the motor assembly. This is an individually sold part and is made of rubber. It is recommended that the belt is replaced every 3-6 months as part of regular maintenance to keep your machine running at peak performance.

Replacing the parts took less than 15 minutes on each unit, however, disassembly, cleaning and reassembly took an additional 2 hours for both machines.
The filter slides on cover over the float, The belt cover had to be removed. Pull out the roller and belt comes with it. Remove the old belt. I cleaned up the roller. Put new belt over motor shaft and over correct end of roller. Align roller ends with slots and stretch out belt as you insert roller ends into slots. Replace cover.
