Broken leveling hinge

1. Removed blade and with then removed upper wheel from axel using 3/4\" wrench.
2. Removed screws and took off upper housing exposing the tensioning plate and leveling hinge.
3. Removed the tensioning plate system sliding upward in the slots on the cast iron post.
4. Backed out tension rod from square nut and removed rod and spring.
5. Using punch and hammer drive the hinge pin out of the tension plate paying attention to direction. Hinge pin is seated into the tension plate on one side.
6. Remove axle.
7. Reassemble using new parts paying attention to the orientation slot at the base of the axle.
8. Reinstall tension plate into the cast iron post.
9. Replace upper housing.
10. Replace upper wheel and reinstall blade according to manual.

The part came timely and was the correct piece. To replace the \"tired\" spring, I took off the top wheel and shield and lower blade guards, replaced the, removed the piece that encases the spring, reassembled it all and \"tuned\" the saw.
