Speed Controller went out on the lathe. When I turned on the lathe, it would go at one speed (High), would also not turn on if I tried to have it go the other direction.
1. Removed the cover (4 Screws)
2. Took pictures of the inside to remember when each wire went.
3. Unplugged the wires
4. Removed (4) screws on the Speed Controller Bd.
5. Removed the board
6. Replaced with new Speed Controller Bd.
7. Fastened down with the (4) screws, made sure each one still had a sp

8. Tried to wire up from the pictures, but that wasn\'t working so well, so I had another lathe of the same model. I opened that one up and mimicked the wiring.
9. Put the cover back on.
10. Turned on the lathe and it worked.
11.Tried to put the the speed dial on the potentiometer shaft, and broke the potentiometer. It was too tight.
12. Used the potentiometer assembly from the original unit. Left the speed dial off.
