The jointer knife attaches to the lock bar and is made of metal. This is an original Delta part for use in jointers. It might require a screwdriver and a wrench set to replace this item. It will require replacing if it becomes broken. This part is available as a set of three.

1. Loosen infeed table lock lever and lower infeed table
2. Remove cutterhead guard
3. Place a steel straight edge on the outfeed table,
extending over the cutterhead.
4. Carefully rotate the cutterhead by hand. The knives

the four screws in the knife locking bar clockwise to loosen using the wrench.
Then adjust the height of the knife by turning the knife raising screws counterclockwise to
lower and clockwise to raise the knife.
