?This is an authentic replacement component which is supplied directly from the original equipment manufacturer for use with Delta table saws. The armature is a center part of an electric motor which powers the tool, over time due to heavy use or faulty components it may begin to wear out and fail eventually requiring a replacement to ensure peak performance. It is a high-quality assembly which consists of the armature, the plastic fan, and two durable metal bearings, please the field and carbon brushes are all sold separately.
