Did online search of what code meant and how to repair
unscrewed side panels (6 screws), slid panel down and pulled off
unscrewed back panel (6+ screws), pulled off panel
unscrewed front & top panels (6) screws removed top and front
found the bad Feeler and removed metal cage where it was plugged in (5 screws) ... Read more />unplugged, removed sensor from plug and 2 ends from attachments
plugged new feeler into plug and attached sensor ends into place, 1 w/ zip cable tie
reinstalled front and top, back, two side panels
Plugged A/C into wall, turned on to check for operation
F1 code flashing
turned off A/C
pushed on/ off button for 15 seconds to reset
If you can screw and unscrew, unplug and plug (as simple as usb plug) and zip tie a cable you can do this. Honestly, child who is good with legos could do this w/supervision watching that she or he replaced all screws back.

WA-LAH.... the repair shop was charging $85 to diagnose what the machine code was already diagnosing, and $135/ hr for labor =minimum $212.00, That is $202 dollars still in my pocket ! This piece cost me less than $10 dollars total and about 1.5 hr (because I missed a few screws putting it back together and had to dismount a couple panels)
