The coupling fits between the spring microswitch and the rubber pad. This genuine item is supplied directly from the original equipment manufacturer for use with dehumidifiers made by DeLonghi. This part is made out of plastic and is sold individually. A screwdriver might be helpful during the installation of this part. It may become broken and will need to be replaced.
Removed the old connector and attached the new one. I need to take it apart to see if the pump is working. I may need to order a new pump and a new tube connector in order for it to work properly.
