Water was leaking to and from water heater

1. Study diagrams on e replacement web site to ID components and parts.
2. Remove outer plastic sides and back of coffee maker.
3. Operate machine with with covers off to observe leak locations.
4. Again look at diagrams to observe parts that could wear out and cause leaks.
5. Rubber \"O\" rings were judged to be the most likely problem and were ordered.
6. Install the parts and again operate the machine with covers off to observe leaks.
7. In my case most of the leaks were eliminated and machine function was solved.
8. I will soon be repeating the above procedure to chase another leak.
The result is I have a $1000.00 coffee maker that still works after 8 years of use and have not had to send it off to a repair station. The freight charges alone would exceed to cost of parts several times over.

Steam leak from top of machine under cup warming rack

Remove the screws from outside and take of back panel
Remove screws at top of each side panel and remove sides
Remove top cover to expose the generator under the cup warming rack
Remove the retaining clips on the top tube and remove tube and o-rings
Replace tube and o-rings with new and reassemble

Simple part replacement nothing hard it was just a tube that fell off. On that tube is an o-ring just use a little dish soap to slide it on.
