Product Description

?

This is an authentic Char-Broil replacement part, it is sold individually. Includes screw. This is the part of the Grill where the flame originates from. Depending on your grill you may have 3 or 4 of these. To connect these to your grill, place the flat side of the Burner in the rear side of the firebox in the slots provided. The front of the burner will connect to the Electrode w/ Wire/Collector. They will connect to the Hose Valve Regulator, and then the Control Knobs will be attached, so the flame can be controlled. Compatible with the Grills listed below.

Might suggest squirting penetrating oil or a bit of WD-40 on the screws and nuts prior to wrestling them loose? Also, since it\'s not mentioned on the website I suggest you purchase new \"cross-over\" tubes and install them at the same time. Overall, an easy fix that perhaps gives me another 10-years with my beloved grill!!

Because of age of grill I removed the front panel to pull back the gas nozzles. This part was unnecessary but did allow easier install of tubes. I did have to drill out two of the mounting screws as they were rusted in place and would not break free even an impact driver and wrench could not break it free. After preparing the install it w ent smoothly and works better than new.

Had to drill out the screws at the back holding burners in place as they were rusted. This took most of the time as I was careful not to damage the brackets. If you have the ignitor in place it will need to be disconnected from the third tube but mine died long ago, I just use a long lighter to start. Once done the whole assembly could be lifted out. Then I installed the new parts and screwed everything in place. Took about twenty minutes total, then I was grilling steaks. :)
Parts were good quality, I will be ordering the heat tents from here next.

Had to drill out old rusted burner screws and replace with new burners and crossovers tubes. Not too bad of a project if you take your time and keep track of the position of the parts.
