Squirrel cage blower fell off motor shaft of vent/heater

1. Removed both heater bulbs
2. Unhooked springs holding decorative cover and removed
3. Loosened both nuts holding motor in place with nut driver
4. Removed motor from housing and oiled bearings
5. Pressed squirrel cage onto shaft
6. Replaced motor and tightened nuts
7. Replaced decorative cover and at tached springs
8. Cleaned and replaced bulbs

Motor stopped working

1. Vacuum exhaust box
2. Remove all old motor, blower and bracket
3. Install new parts and test

Vent fan blades broke and fan was very noisy

The motor and blade unplugged and were easily removed with loosening two small nuts. The fan piece slid off the motor spindle and the new fan slid on.
After having a know nothing electrician out who was zero help, getting a little help from an insulation contractor showing me the simplicity of the repair, I am very pleased with the outcome.

Needed new blower wheel

Simply unplug the fan from the light. Loosen two nuts holding the fan and remove. Slide the new blower wheel on the shaft. Make sure you push the blower wheel sufficiently on the shaft to avoid any contact with the blower duct. Retighten nuts and plug the blower motor into the light fixture where it was removed.

1 Unplugged fan motor
2 Loosened 2 mounting nuts
3 Removed motor and old blower wheel
4 Slide old blower wheel off motor shaft
5 Lubricate motor shaft
6 Slide new blower wheel onto motor shaft
8 Place motor on firm surface and tap blower wheel onto place with mallet
9 Reinstall motor into fan as sembly
10 Tighten mounting nuts
11 Plug motor into motor outlet
12 Replace fan housing cover

Broken wheel
