Heater element was sparking and switch was dead

1. Shut power off to fan.
2 removed the light cover, 2 screws under the light housing.
3. unplugged the heater fan/element as a unit.
4.2- screws held the unit in place.
5. removed existing wire nuts; replaced element, used new wire nuts to reconnect element.
6. install is reverse of steps above.

Heater element shorted out

1. Removed the face plate.
2. Removed the light bulbs.
3. Removed two screws holding the shield.
4. Losend two screws holding the heating and the fan.
5. Removed the heating assembly.
6. Replaced the old heater element with the new.
7. Replaced in reverse order.

heating element no longer worked

1. Turn off power to ceiling vent/light/heater
2. Remove cover to expose vent fan, heater element and fan
3. Remove wire nuts holding electrical connection to heater and disconnect controlling thermostat
4. Remove heating element
5. Replace heating element and reconnect wiring and thermostat
6. Check to make sure it is working correctly then reinstall cover
