The wheel goes next to the fan motor and the motor mount. This item is sold individually and is made out of plastic. This is an authentic Broan and Nutone replacement part that is sourced from the original manufacturer for use with ceiling heaters and exhaust fans. A screwdriver and a socket set may be needed during the replacement of this part. It will need to be replaced if it breaks.

The motor on my exhaust fan died. A new light/exhaust fixture would have required a drywall patch. I didnGÇÖt want to mess with that.

1. With a small socket I took off the nuts and washers that held the mounting bracket on the old motor.
2. Placed the new motor in the old bracket and refastened the washers and nuts, being careful to put the ground wire back in place under one of the nuts.
3. Attached new fan wheel to the motor.
