Lens and grill were discolored and warped. Light bulb socket was partially missing, and insulation on wiring was missing.

Removed lens, disconnected wiring socket for bulb, removed grill, and removed wing nut to remove metal housing. Reinstalled in reverse order. The only tricky part was installing the lightbulb socket. It simply clips into the metal housing, but the clip is stiff so requires a bit of encouragement using pliers.

Anyone who can s tand on a ladder can do this.

Biggest problem was getting the ladder out to do the work. Doing things like this, replacing the grille and lens on my bathroom exhaust fans, makes me empowered at 70 years.
