This power cord is a genuine Andis replacement part. It is sourced directly from original equipment manufacturer for use with electric trimmers. It is used to supplied power from an outlet to the unit. This rubber insulated cord is sold individually. To complete this repair job you should only need a screwdriver • Make sure the trimmer is unplugged • Remove housing screws • Open up the housing • Disconnect the wires • Remove the old power cord • Secure the new cord in place • Reattach the wires • Reassemble and test the trimmer

Just make sure that you insert the power cord with the grommet in the correct position so that it fits into the case.
Removed top half of clipper housing, de-soldered the wire connections and removed the old cord. Slid new cord into place and resoldered the wires. Replaced cover w/ the two screws.
Took the devise apart by using a small Phillips screw driver. Then detached the two wires that were attached then replaced it with the replacement one.
