Removed the screws from the housing and carefully separated them. Disconnected the wires from the old motor. Removed the pin holding the motor to the gearbox. Removed the motor noting how it was in the housing. Installed the motor, installed the pins. Connected the wires leads. Made sure all of the part were in the right place. Screws the housings together.

The problem was after getting the old motor and pinion assembly out how do I separate it?. I discovered that to separate it there are two small rods probably inch and a half long size of a probable ink pen cartridge. I pushed both of those out using a very thin nail then had to twist and turn the motor from the pinion assembly, ultimately it separated then, I had to reconnect the new motor to the pinion aligning it correctly and reinstalling the two small rods in each hole to hold the assemblies together. plugged in the positive and negative power wire leads to the back of the motor.reassembled everything so that the trigger switch would still be at the bottom when you put your outer casing back together and that was it ,works like a charm almost like new glad I purchase the product to ReFurbish this drill. Save the cost of buying a new one I\'ve already used it and it works perfectly like new.

Disassembled the screw gun by separating the cases . Removes two steel pins holding the motor to the transmission .Watch when separating the two pieces so the transmission does not come apart . reassembled , very simple .
