This is an authentic OEM replacement carriage bold made for circular saws. It allows user to lock lever which helps user to secure the saw at a needed angle. The square portion of this bolt allows it to be locked in the housing while the lock nut is secured. It is made out of metal and it is sold individually.

Removed the knob from the broken portion of the carriage bolt.
Removed the broken head of the carriage bolt.
Replaced each with the new parts.

put blade on shaft
put blade washer on top of blade on shaft
put bolt in shaft
