This set contains both the right and the left sides of the housing. Please note the screws that hold the clamshell together are not included, they are sold separately. This clamshell set is made from durable plastic material and it is sold individually. You will need a screwdriver to complete this repair.

Dropped my drill and broke the clamshell, also had a stripped screw.

1. Removed the Battery from the Drill
2. removed the clamshell screws then the motor mount screws
3. removed the gearbox assembly
4. removed the bearing retainer brackets for the motor
5. transferred all parts from the old broken clamshell to the new one
6. make sure to line up the parts carefully, especially the stator ring
7. reassemble the clamshell and gearcase and tighten the screws
8. put the battery in and test it out, good as new!

Removed screws holding clamshell together, replaced broken clamshell with new, re-installed screws.

Clam shell broke

Removed the screws from the clamshell and carefully separated them, trying to leave all of the parts in one side. Took a picture where all of the parts belong. Transferred all of the parts into one half of the new clamshell and then screwed them together

1. Removed broken shell
2. Removed brush motor and cleaned
3. Lubricated motor with lithium grease
4. Complete rebuild starting with screws on motor body then moved to camshell
