Tony from Brookfield, Wisconsin

Difficulty Level:
A Bit Difficult
Total Repair Time:
15 - 30 mins
Tools:
Socket set, Wrench set
- Removed left handed threaded bolt to remove blade. Replaced this bolt and spacer / washer.
- Removed press fit dowel with punch. This dowel allows blade depth to swing up and down.
- Removed rear left hand bolt that allows for adjusting and locking blade depth. Replaced this
bolt.
- Lower guard has retracting spring attached to it. Removed it, cleaned it and reused it at
assembly of lower guard.
- there are a couple other misc. fasteners involved with lower guard removal.
- Overall pretty easy and the costs for all the parts were very reasonable.
- The biggest issue is knowing about the two fasteners that are left hand threads.
