This is an OEM replacement part, sold individually. This Blade Clamp is a tool less blade clamp system. There are no tools needed to clamp the blade into the tool. It is secured to the shaft assembly by two hex head screws. To use this blade clamp, just press up on the black lever insert the blade and it is locked in the clamp. It is compatible with the Jigsaws listed below.

The blade clamp broke.

1. Made sure the jigsaw was unplugged, removed the old broken blade clamp.
2. Replaced it with the new blade clamp.
3. There are (2) allen screws that hold the blade clamp on the jigsaw.
4. I removed the allen screws, and took the old blade clamp off, and put the new blade clamp on, replaced the allen screws.
5. Pl ugged it in and tested it, and it worked fine.
Very simple to fix this problem.

Took off two allen screws, slipped off the old part. Then slipped on the new blade clamp, and tightened the two allen screws. DONE

jig saw blade holder broke

1 Removed broken blade holder.
2.Inserted new blade holder. It was tight so thats when a few hammer taps helped.
3.Reinserted 2 screws.
4.Done! Works like new.
