This is a genuine DeWalt replacement part, it is not an aftermarket imitation. The metal spring is sourced from the original manufacturer to be used with angle grinders. The coiled spring fits into the brush holder and is used to press the brush against the commutator bars on the armature. This item is sold as an individual replacement part, please note two spring may be required.
