This is a genuine OEM sourced replacement part designed for use with DeWALT table saws. The miter gauge allows a user to position and safely guide a workpiece. It is inserted into either one of the two T-slotted miter gauge grooves located on the table top. This miter gauge consists of a plastic body, a knob, and a metal rail. The miter gauge arrived on time in good condition. However, the replacement as the original guide has too much play in it when sliding in its groove. I reduced the play to nearly zero by putting several layers of very thin metallic tape on the sides of the guide.
