Genuine Black and Decker replacement part, this item is sold individually. This Terminal is attached to the cord on all of the tools listed below. It is then attach to the electrical connection of the tool.
Open tool housing. Remove old cord ends from tool. Put cord protector on new cord, measure new wires for length against old wires. Cut to length and strip insulation. Crimp terminal ends on wire. Reconnect terminals to correct polarity tool connectors. Position wires in housing and reassemble. Test run tool for proper operation.
Removed the screws from the rear housing
Removed the old cord from the switch
Removed the cord relief from the old cord and slid it on the new cord
Cut the cord leads to the correct length and put on the terminals
Connected the new cord to the switch
Replaced the rear housing
Remove the back cover of the grinder, note how the other parts are placed. Remove the cord wires from the switch. Place the old cord protector on the new cord. Strip the wires and attach the terminals. Connect the new terminals to the switch. Make sure the rest of the parts are in place, then attach the back cover.
Removed the handle cover
Pulled the terminal connectors.
Slid the power cord through the protector.
Soldered the terminals onto the new power cord wires.
Plugged in the terminals.
Aligned the power cord protector and replaced the cover.
