This replacement item is specially designed for use with Dewalt circular saws. It is supplied directly from original equipment manufacturer. This end cap is used as a cover for the field case. It is made out of black plastic and it is sold individually. Please note the label and screws are sold separately. Replacing this item is a simple task that should only require a screwdriver. • Make sure the unit is unplugged • Remove two (2) screws that secure the end cap • Remove old cap and install new one • Reassemble and test the unit

He just took the old one off, that was held by 2 screws and simply replaced it with the new end cap. It was just what he needed. It also didn\'t take long for it to arrive , shipping was quick . Thank you

2 screws removed and the old cover pulled right off. New slipped right on amd replaced the screws

1. Replaced new broken end cap with new one (2 torx screws)
2. Replaced power cord by splitting saw in two by removing torx screws (#20 torx bit)

Remove the 2 screws that hold the end cap to the saw. Remove broken cap. Then install the new end cap with the screws.
