Used pliers to remove the sheared screws and reattached new assembly with the new screws. Could\'ve used the old assembly, but decided to replace it to be sure of structural integrity and fit of new self-tapping screws. Pretty simple.

Blade fell off. Two screws sheared off. Difficult or impossible to grip and remove.

Larry from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida

Difficulty Level:
A Bit Difficult
Total Repair Time:
1- 2 hours
Tools:
Screw drivers
Parts Used:

Had to use a special star security driver to open the saw case. Unnecessary security-head screws were used instead of simple Phillips heads. Fortunately, I already had such a driver.
New part did not come with screws, and part description did not include such information. This required a trip to the hardware store for 3mm machine s crews. I used a plain steel screw to cut the threads, then 2 stainless steel screws to fasten the clamp to the arm. Not difficult.
